3rd-place finish for Holland at Whynot

Chase Holland of Success, Mississippi, competed in his home state on Saturday as he took on the Open Wheel Modified class at Whynot Motorsports Park. The track is located in Meridian in the Magnolia State.

Holland piloted his Industrial Dock & Door Company No. 45 machine to a second-place finish in his heat and started third on the grid for the A-Main.

He stayed there for the duration of the 15-lapper on the quarter-mile red clay oval to finish in the final podium position. He crossed under the checkered flag behind race winner Greg Hollingsworth and second-place finisher Hayden Moran. Robert Casada and Cameron Williams finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
