Chase Holland drives to 11th at Tri-City
After 48 hours of rainouts, Chase Holland finally hit the track on Saturday for the sole day of racing in the 19th annual Mod Mania at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois).
The event brought 54 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds to the 3/8-mile oval in search of a $5,000 victory.
Holland finished fourth in his heat, then grabbed the third and final transfer spot in his B-Main to move into the night’s feature.
He started the 35-lap main event from the 24th position and made an impressive charge forward throughout the race to record an 11th-place finish.
