Chase Holland
Trio of wins for Holland at Baton Rouge and Pike County
Chase Holland turned in a perfect weekend as his April racing slate drew to a close.
On Friday, he took part in the Bayou Bash at Baker, Louisiana’s Baton Rouge Raceway where the Gulf South Crate Racing Association took on the MS Crate Late Racing Series. Holland’s Champion Commercial HVAC No. 45 Crate Late Model was one of 43 cars in the pits for the event.
After qualifying sixth in his group on the 3/8-mile track, Holland won his heat race and started the 25-lap feature from the pole. He went on to take the $1,500 victory over Luke Bennett, Brady Walton, Corey Neil Jr. and Beau Begnaud.
The next night, Holland and his team traveled to Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi, to compete in both the Crate Late Model and Modified classes.
Forty-one Crate Late Model teams seeking another $1,500 payday made the trip to the 3/8-mile oval for the second consecutive Gulf South vs. MS Crate showdown. In the main event, Holland took the checkered flag in front of Robbie Stuart, Begnaud, Zachary Heflin and Talan Willis.
Meanwhile, in the 13-car Modified division, Holland bested Hunter Breland, Noah Daspit, Greg Hollingsworth and Robert Casada.
With the three victories, Holland has now won eight times in 2024.
