Chase Holland
4th-place result for Holland at Whynot
Chase Holland and his team made a spur-of-the-moment decision to race at Whynot Motorsports Park on Saturday night. The trip paid off with a top-five finish in the 16-car Crate Late Model class at the quarter-mile track in Meridian, Mississippi.
To begin the evening, Holland clocked the fourth-quickest time in his qualifying group on the red-clay oval and won his heat race from the pole. He then rolled off from the fourth row in the feature and advanced three positions to record a fourth-place result.
He followed Chris McElhenney, David Williamson and Jim McDuffie under the checkered flag, with Chase Cooper rounding out the top five.
