Top-3 finish for Holland in Fall Classic
Chase Holland raced his Modified in his home state over the weekend and scored a podium result in the 30th annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Meridian, Mississippi’s Whynot Motorsports Park.
In Friday’s qualifying session, Holland drove his Wehrs Machine & Racing Products No. 45 car to the third-quickest time around the quarter-mile oval in a 25-car field. He went on to win his heat race from the pole and started third in Saturday’s $2,500-to-win Modified feature.
After holding the runner-up spot for much of the 25-lap main event, Holland ultimately finished in the third position. He rounded out the podium behind Cade Dillard and Noah Daspit, while Jade Luzenburg and Scott Ladner were fourth and fifth, respectively.
